Community Immunization Clinics
Many diseases, such as pertussis, measles, and chicken pox, are easily preventable through vaccination. That is why Kindergarten register requires your child to be up to date on their immunizations, and why the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends immunizations for most individuals. Not sure what you need? Visit for links to school requirements as well as CDC recommendations for children, adolescents and adults.

Besides school vaccines, UCHD nurses administer adult and adolescent vaccines such as flu, pneumonia, and pertussis (whooping cough). The Vaccine for Children (VFC) program offers discounted vaccines for kids that qualify, or the UCHD accepts Altius, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, DMBA/Deseret Secure, EMI, Humana, SelectHealth, Medicare/Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicaid/PCN, Molina Healthy kids, PEHP and United Health Care. For complete list of times and locations, please see or call 801-851-7025. To speed up your visit, individuals are encouraged to download the paperwork, print it and have it filled it out before arrival (also available from the web site)
